All libraries and record offices are available for hire or have a room (or space) for hire.  Many libraries and record offices have space for exhibitions too, that are available on request. Charges by application.

• Library room hire is free of charge for reading groups
• A session is 9am to 1pm or 1pm to 5pm including clearing up time
• Evening hire is by local arrangement
• Other libraries can be hired by local arrangement
• If a booking is cancelled less than one week before, a fee of 50% of the hire charge applies. If cancelled less than 48 hours before or the booking is not taken up, then the full charge applies. If no booking charges apply, a fee of £50 will apply if the booking is not taken up or is cancelled less than one week before (at the discretion of the manager)
• Other terms and conditions apply, please see booking form available from the library manager
• Where catering can be provided it is a condition of hire that hirers use Suffolk Libraries catering services. Lets to Suffolk County Councillors will be free as per policy but on the basis all such hirers use Suffolk Libraries catering services
• Discounts: 12.5% on 10 bookings paid in advance. NB Block booking not available at Bury Record Office
