The Schools Library Service supports independent reading and learning by providing advice, support and loans of materials to help schools get the most from their libraries. We are a traded service, and our budget is delegated to schools, who choose to “buy-in” to our services. We support schools across all phases, from nursery to high and upper.

Termly topic boxes to support curriculum projects

Artefact loans through our STAR artefact collection

Helping you to link your own library to the curriculum by evaluating your stock

 

Managing your own library

Giving you hands on practical support from our expert staff

Offering advice on how to improve the effectiveness of the school library

Providing advice on design and layout of your library

Assisting you with the purchase, set up and use of library computer systems
