The Reading Groups' Community
Suffolk Libraries currently supports around 395 reading groups all across Suffolk. The oldest registered groups we have that are still going are over 20 years old but there are plenty of newer groups springing up all the time.
Whilst most groups meet elsewhere there are a number of groups that meet in the libraries also, such as part of the 'Top Time' sessions for older people.
All of our libraries can offer the following service to book groups:
- A reading group card that allows books to be loaned for a longer period of time
- Library staff who can help advise you on ordering books and suggestions for your next read
- Free use of library space for book group meetings
